🍁For nearly 150 years, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has been Canada's national police service. We have national, federal, provincial, and municipal policing mandates. From coast to coast to coast, we work at the community, provincial/territorial and federal levels. The RCMP is made up of more than 20,000 police officers, supported by nearly 10,000 civilian employees in over 700 detachments in 150 communities across the country. We also provide policing services in more than 600 Indigenous communities.

🍁In Manitoba, nearly 1,500 RCMP employees work every day to keep communities across the province safe.

🍁The Manitoba RCMP Communications and Media Relations Unit is tasked with keeping Manitobans informed about events affecting their safety and security. On a daily basis, we work with front-line police officers to help move investigations forward and highlight their important work. It is a fast paced but incredibly rewarding environment.
