๐ขThe person hired will be required to work on a shift schedule in person, at our facilities located in Quebec City. The shifts are from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (on a rotating basis).
๐ Lead the extraction processes and create work orders for the printing of cheques and documents in the relevant systems, ensuring compliance with established processes and procedures. Report any issues related to the extractions and various products to the management system.
๐ Reconcile and balance all extracted information using data in POCS, based on insertion reports, ensuring that all broken items are accounted for, and create deposit statements, while entering data for transmission to Canada Post via OEE.
๐ Ensure compliance and quality of all printed documents in the printing and insertion process according to established standards, processes, and procedures, while maintaining up-to-date production statistics to monitor progress.
๐ Ensure staff compliance with established standards, processes, and procedures during quality inspections of ongoing work, where the position is responsible for identifying any non-conformities and applying appropriate preventive measures. The position must also compile non-conformity elements into reports and make recommendations for process improvement.
The print centers (PCs) are responsible for providing printing, inserting, and distribution services on behalf of federal ministries and agencies, nationwide. These services include issuing cheques, printing private documents, producing reports, and processing special mail shipments. The work takes place in an industrial setting, and the nature of the job requires the incumbent to work in shifts.
The Work/Quality Controller is responsible for leading the extraction processes and creating work orders, performing cheque rework, and handling the reconciliation and daily deposit statements. Additionally, he is responsible for monitoring quality processes related to production and progress between the printing and inserting operations to ensure customer expectations are met; maintaining daily statistics, and performing white paper rework.
The purpose of this process will be to fill one or two positions within the SPAC department in Quebec City.
This pool could be used to fill similar positions within the Digital Services Branch in Quebec City.
Depending on the number of applicants and the human resources needs, volume management strategies may be used for the purpose of managing applications to determine the candidates who will continue in the next steps of the staffing process. Such volume management strategies might include: screening of applications based on the Asset Qualifications, random selection, top-down approach and/or establishment of cut-off scores.
