• Full-time post-secondary student in an accredited institution, returning to full-time studies in fall 2025

Duties

Selected Candidate will provide assistance to Project Managers which may include the following tasks:

- Field truthing for designs and implementation of projects.
- Creation of asset databases.
- Mapping of utilities and facilities.
- Inspections and scheduling of granular material deliveries.

Parks Canada is a federal government agency responsible for the protection and presentation of Canada’s outstanding natural and cultural resources through a system of national parks, national marine conservation areas and national historic sites in all regions of Canada.

Jasper National Park is the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies covering over 11,000 square kilometers. Situated within this is an extensive historic trail network with over 1000km of trails ranging from easily accessible and family friendly front country trails to iconic multi day backcountry trails passing though the remote wilderness of Jasper National Park.

Intent of the process

The Youth Employment and Skills Strategy Program is a Federal Government jobs initiative targeted at young Canadians aged 15 to 30. It supports the creation of job opportunities, with a particular focus on young people facing barriers.
