The Federal Northwest Regional Commander’s office supports policing operations by ensuring that the region is strategically aligned, has access to the proper tools, and is intelligence-led in its service of public safety in the provinces and territories it encompasses (Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut). The office provides oversight to numerous operational units, including the Integrated National Security Enforcement Team, Serious and Organized Crime, Federal Operations Support, Cyber Crime & Financial Crime, Federal Policing Support Services and Intelligence.
The Strategic Business Planning and Reporting Team develops and implements financial strategies to attain regional goals. The position will be part of a team performing a variety of tasks. This process will be used to staff one (1) indeterminate full-time position in Edmonton.

NOTE: Successful candidates will require a valid RCMP security clearance prior to appointment and throughout the tenure of their employment. The process to obtain RCMP security clearance involves a security/reliability interview and a field investigation regarding matters of criminal activity which includes reference checks, verification of credit/financial status, education, employment, etc. As such, the process may take several weeks or months to complete.
