Duties

Public Services and Procurement Canada manages one of the largest and most diverse portfolios of real estate in the country and is the Government of Canada’s real property expert. Our Pacific Region extends from the Canada/US border to the Arctic, including British Columbia and the Yukon Territory. Our real property professionals include office accommodation specialists, architects, engineers, environmental scientists, real estate experts and asset and facility managers. Our work in delivering services is equally diverse; it includes construction and repairs to federal correctional facilities, research laboratories, border crossings, remote harbors as well as office fit-up in owned and leased facilities.

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is looking for a Property and Facilities Officer for its Asset and Facility Management Services Unit in the Pacific Region.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
➨Monitors and administers contracts for property management of office and/or specialized facilities, including during construction or renovation projects
➨Working in a team environment to deliver a comprehensive program of work, through a service provider, including: property and facility management, capital projects, fit up, repair & studies
➨Perform financial tasks (such as creation of purchase orders, payment of invoices, etc).
➨Collaborates with other stakeholders, including other Federal departments and organizations, service providers, and industry organizations while representing the interests of the Department and client departments

The following steps will occur during the assessment process:
