🏢In the context of the RCMP’s mandate, most positions are identified as onsite. Where feasible, as determined by operational requirements, flexible work arrangements (variable work week, flexible start and end times) or hybrid telework model (combination of onsite and offsite work) with a maximum of two days at home may be considered. The options may be discussed with the manager after an initial training period which requires a full time in office presence.
⭐In many selection processes the first step is screening. It's during the screening phase that the assessment board will decide whether your application will be considered further or will be rejected. Use the Screening Questionnaire wisely. By demonstrating how you meet the qualifications, you may better your odds at being considered further. You should consider using the STAR technique to answer: describe the Situation, the Tasks you were required to achieve, the Actions you took and the Results of your actions.
⚠️Ethical Considerations: The use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) in assessments raises ethical concerns, such as data privacy and security, informed consent, and the potential for unintended consequences. We must uphold ethical standards and prioritize the well-being and rights of individuals involved in the assessment process.
In light of these concerns, it is forbidden to use artificial intelligence during the assessment process. We are looking for examples of your experience and it must be described in your own words. The use of artificial intelligence could lead to exclusion from the process.

🍁The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is more than just Canada's national police service. We have been part of the fabric of Canada since 1873 – almost 150 years. We are one of only a few police services recognized around the world for both our policing excellence and our image – the "Mountie".
Over the last century-and-a-half, we have grown and evolved with and for Canadians. The result is a more modern, diverse and inclusive RCMP that serves with honour and pride to keep Canadians safe.
