Prairies Economic Development Canada (PrairiesCan) works to develop and diversify the economy of Canada’s prairie region by delivering grants and contributions programs and advocating on behalf of the prairies. At PrairiesCan, we care about people and about serving the best interests of our clients. We use our Values and Ethics Code as a moral compass to guide everything that we do and how we behave. What we do is equally as important as how we do it, and excellence is our standard.
In the annual public service employee survey, PrairiesCan employees consistently rank the department as one of the best places to work in the federal government.
PrairiesCan has implemented a hybrid work program with three days in the office per week and up to two days of remote work per week.
