EDUCATION
• Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in education.
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
• Possession of an acceptable teaching certificate from a province or territory of Canada (level 4, 5 or 6).
EXPERIENCE
• Experience in teaching Canadian elementary and/or high school curriculum.
• Experience in teaching adult education programs.
• Experience in incorporating Indigenous perspective into a curriculum.
• Experience in teaching an Indigenous language.
• Experience in working in an outreach or alternative education environment.
• Experience working in a correctional environment.
• Experience in using educational assessment tools.
• Experience in teaching adult learners with learning difficulties/differences.
