ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
◉ A secondary school diploma or a satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma or successful completion of a provincially / territorially approved secondary school equivalency test, or an acceptable combination of education, raining and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE:
◉ Experience using word processing software, spreadsheet software and an email platform*
◉ Experience in at least three of the following:
➡ Experience in shipping and receiving
➡ Experience in Material records management
➡ Experience in issuing and storing inventory
➡ Experience in handling and storage of dangerous goods.
➡ Experience in the operation of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, trucks, and delivery vehicles.
➡ Experience in commercial or general housekeeping techniques including the operation and maintenance of housekeeping equipment such as automatic floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, floor polishers, burnishers, etc.
➡ Experience in a point-of-sale system (Cashiering)

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION:
◉ Possession of a current transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certificate
◉ Possession of a valid Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certificate
◉ Possession of a valid First aid and CPR certificate
EXPERIENCE:
◉ Experience in supervising, evaluating and motivating individuals
◉ Experience in ordering, warehousing and dispensing services and commodities such as; clothing, bedding, linens, personal grooming items, household and janitorial supplies, furnishings and housekeeping equipment.
◉ Experience in operation of a commercial laundry (washers, dryers, clothing presses)
◉ Experience in commercial sewing equipment
◉ Experience in the proper techniques and methods to clean up bodily fluids, biohazard spills, or other hazardous materials
◉ Experience working for Correctional Service of Canada
