Bruce Peninsula National Park (BPNP) and Fathom Five National Marine Park (FFNMP) are located at the tip of the Saugeen (Bruce) Peninsula in the traditional territory of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation.
BPNP is characterized by shoreline cliffs plunging into the turquoise water of Georgian Bay, large tracts of forest, and a mosaic of habitats home to black bears, rare reptiles, ancient cedar trees, orchids and ferns. FFNMP is Canada’s first national marine park, and known for its deep freshwater ecosystem, ancient rock formations, cliff edge forests, historic shipwrecks, and orchid species.
Together, these two parks protect complex ecosystems in the heart of the Great Lakes, and each year welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors who come for inspiration, recreation and connecting with nature.
