This process will be managed by the Treasury Board Secretariat and used by various federal government organizations across the country to staff their positions.
A pool of qualified persons will be established through this process and will be used to fill similar positions with various linguistic profiles as well as tenures which may vary according to the position being staffed.

A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience:
• Experience in conducting environmental research and analysis and providing recommendations on procurement or materiel management related policy or program initiatives.
• Experience responding to queries and providing advice to clients on issues related to greening in procurement, contracting or materiel management policies, legislation, regulations, or practices.
• Experience managing multiple projects, procurement files, or programs simultaneously.
• Experience briefing senior management* to inform on policy or program issues for decision. (Including but not limited to briefing notes, reports, decks, etc.)
*Senior management is defined as director level and above

Asset Education:
• Completion of a post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field.
• Graduate of the Professional Development & Certification Program (PDCP) of the Government of Canada.
• Completion of post-secondary education in an environmental field (Environmental sciences, climate change studies, sustainability, supply-chain management, or another related field)
Asset Experience:
• Experience in projects related to sustainability or green initiatives. (eg implementation of energy-saving projects, waste reduction programs, or other environmental improvements within an organization).
• Experience conducting Green Life Cycle Analysis; life cycle costing; life cycle phases and environmental considerations in each while following policy on green procurement.
• Experience participating in committees and meetings pertinent to greening procurement and related environmental matters.
• Experience with tools or software for tracking and reporting on environmental performance
• Experience with climate change adaptation and climate resilience.
• Experience with clean technology activities.
• Experience in the preparation and in presenting information in training sessions.
