Intent of the process

A pool of partially qualified candidates will be established through this process and will be used to staff identical or similar positions with various language (English or French Essential, BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC or CCC/CCC) and/or security (reliability or secret) requirements across Canada. All federal organizations listed in Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act may use this selection process to appoint a candidate to its organization in an identical or similar position. These positions may be staffed on an indeterminate (appointment or deployment) or temporary basis (term, acting, assignment or secondment).

A response to a text question addressing the following:

  • Tell me about a decision you made recently in a situation where you had to consider various options before making a decision.

    How did you analyze the problem and evaluate your alternatives?
  • Describe a work-related situation in which you were required to collaborate with a partner, stakeholder or client in order to achieve something, and in which you encountered problems working with them.
    •Describe the situation.
    •What difficulties did you encounter?
    •What approach and courses of action did you take to address these problems?
    •What was the outcome?

EDUCATION:
A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives (see Note 1).

The employer-approved alternative to a secondary school diploma is:
An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
1.Experience leading administrative processes related to real estate or procurement transactions.

2.Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

3.Experience managing data and using data management systems.

ASSETS QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
AED1: Completion of a recognized postsecondary educational program in law, procurement, commerce, business, real estate, or administrative-related fields.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
AEX1: Experience working in a real property leasing or real property transaction environment in the federal government of Canada.

Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)
