โœ… SCREENED IN: I have over 14 years of experience working with MS Office Suite software: Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel. During my college education as a Legal Administrative Assistant it was imperative that I maintain over an 80% average in all MS Office programs, and I maintained over a 95% average in all programs.

During my work experience as a Position A, Position B, and Position C, I used MS Word daily to draft various documents, letters, and memos to staff members and clientele. I used MS Excel daily to update all product orders to clients within the industry and maintained an accurate parts inventory. In Position C at Company X, I used Excel create a budget spreadsheet, track expenses and create monthly summary reports and graphs. In all the previously listed positions, I used MS Outlook daily to write emails, and send documents to staff members, clientele, and taxpayers in addition to the calendar function to schedule internal and external meetings, organizing my tasks, etc.

As a Position D with Company Y, I use MS word to create posters, flyers, questionnaires, and invitations to clientele and team members. I use MS Excel to create and maintain an accurate accounting system for accounts payables, receivables, incomes, and expenses.

OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse in a province or territory of Canada*, with no conditions or restrictions.
* In order to be appointed, candidates must be registered in the province or territory where the position is being staffed.

EXPERIENCE
Experience** in one or more of the following areas: psychiatric, medical-surgical, emergency or other related fields.
** Normally associated with experience gained over three consecutive years within the last five years.
Experience working in an interdisciplinary environment.

EDUCATION:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in nursing, nursing service administration, nursing education or some other specialty relevant to the position.

EXPERIENCE:
Experience managing human resources.
Experience managing financial resources.
Experience in program management such as needs assessment, planning, organizing, coordinating and evaluation.
Experience in coordinating Health and/or Training Programs.
Experience in dealing with Indigenous communities.
Experience in dealing with community-based health organizations, such as public health or mental health.
Experience in planning, developing, coordinating and supporting the implementation of comprehensive formal discharge/post release plans for individuals with complex medical problems.
Experience working in an interdisciplinary environment.
Experience working in a correctional environment.

KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of nursing management strategies in the delivery of health services.
Knowledge of the issues and trends affecting the management and delivery of health programs.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and Correctional Service Canada policies (e.g. Commissionerโ€™s Directives).

ABILITIES:

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Reliability and Security: Reliability Status Security Clearance.
Medical Clearance through Health Canada or alternatives designated by Health Canada.
Valid CPR/AED level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Valid CPR/AED for Health Care Providers (HCP) is also acceptable.
Possess a Registered Nurse license or Registered Psychiatric Nurse license in good standing from the provincial regulatory body in the province or territory of practice, with no conditions or restrictions.
