Assessment accommodation

As announced by the Treasury Board of Canada, for now, Indigenous Services Canada employees are expected to perform their duties from a government of Canada physical workplace at least 2–3 days each week, or 40–60% of their regular schedule. However, our directorate is expecting the presence in the workplace 5 days a week.

Please note that our offices are located in Amherst and Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Intent of the process

This process may be used to establish a pool of partially qualified candidates in support of current and future staffing needs for Indigenous Services Canada – CFRDO Corporate Services Atlantic Directorate. As positions become available, qualified candidates will be contacted for consideration. This process may also be used to staff similar or identical positions at Indigenous Services Canada with various tenures, locations, linguistic profiles, conditions of employment, and security requirements.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE:

- Experience working with First Nations, Inuit, and/or Métis, external stakeholders and employment equity groups.

- Experience in Security, Accommodation, Custodial Property, Real Property, or Fire Emergency and Building Safety.

- Experience with travel arrangements and using Amex GBT Travel System.

- Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite.
