TIPS FOR APPLICANTS: When answering the screening questions ensure that you provide complete and thorough details of your experience. Do not assume that the screening board has any previous knowledge of your background, qualifications, or work history. You must be specific and provide concrete examples/details for each Experience element, as applications will be screened only on the information provided. Failure to provide sufficient information may result in your application being screened out of the competition.
In assessing candidates, assessment boards may use a variety of tools and methods including, but not limited to, reviews of past performance and accomplishments, written tests, interviews, PSC tests and reference checks. Assessments may be conducted through a third-party's online platform. In addition, all information obtained throughout the selection process, from the time of application to close of process, may be used to evaluate the candidates.

Random selection may be used.
A top-down screening approach may be undertaken. Only the top ranking candidates may be invited to the assessment phase of the process.
You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. It is your responsibility to provide appropriate examples that illustrate how you meet each qualification. Failing to do so could result in your application being rejected.
Candidates are only required to meet the essential qualifications to be placed into the pool. We may appoint candidates by applying one or more of the following criteria:
