The intent is to staff multiple positions on an indeterminate basis at Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) in Gatineau, Québec. A pool of partially or fully qualified candidates may also be established to staff similar or identical positions at Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) with various linguistic profiles, tenures (term or indeterminate), location across Canada and/or security clearance, which may vary according to the position being staffed.

EDUCATION:
Successful completion of two years of a post-secondary program at a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce or economics*.
*The following are considered as a specialization:
(1) Be currently enrolled in an accounting, business administration, commerce or economics program at a recognized post-secondary educational institution and have completed 60 credits in that program;
(2) Possess a two-year degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce or economics;
(3) Possess a two-year degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in another field AND have obtained 15 credits in one or more of the following fields: accounting, finance, business administration, commerce or economics, or another finance-related field approved by the selection committee.
EXPERIENCE:
E1. At least 1 year of experience in one or a combination of the following financial areas:
• Internal or External Audit
• Costing
• Resource Management and Reporting

ASSET EDUCATION:
AED1. A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce or economics.
AED2. Eligibility for a recognized professional accounting designation. Recognized professional accounting designations are: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and Certified General Accountant (CGA).
ASSET EXPERIENCE:
AE1. Experience in using Financial System SAP.
AE2. Experience in using Phoenix Pay System.
Various language requirements
The majority of positions to be filled are bilingual imperative BBB/BBB, but the pool could be used for positions with various language profiles and requirements: bilingual imperative BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC, CCC/CCC, French essential or English essential.
