To be eligible, you must be:
• registered as a full time or part-time secondary or post secondary student in an accredited academic program; or
• participating in adult education and retraining programs at the secondary level, operated under the authority of an accredited academic institution, and
• meet the minimum age requirement to work in the province or territory where the job is located as well as to any specific age student program requirements.

We will be pulling a first round of candidates for the 2024 operational season on January 5, 2024. Should there be vacancies later in the operational season, we will continue to pull from the list.

Duties

Student Visitor Services Attendants provide friendly reception; campground registration and information to visitors about Cape Breton Highlands National Park of Canada and community services; sell fishing, camping and entry permits and deal with client satisfaction.

Work environment

Cape Breton Highlands National Park of Canada is currently searching for students during the 2024 visitor season. Parks Canada sites on Cape Breton Island are defining features of Canada and provide communities and visitors with beauty, recreation, and a unique sense of history.

Students who are currently registered at a secondary school (Minimum Grade 11) or post-secondary at an accredited institution or participating in adult education and retraining programs at the secondary level, operated under the authority of an accredited academic institution.

The proof of registration must include the student's official name and the name of the educational institution.

A list of registered classes is not considered a proof of enrolment.
