The successful candidate will assist the Resource Conservation team in monitoring the health of the park ecosystem, assessing the status of species-at-risk, and completing restoration programs. This work involves visiting less-traveled areas of the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, both on land and in water. This opportunity offers a chance to get to know this beautiful and unique area while developing hands-on skills.

• Measuring and recording biological data, including handling live specimens;
• Entering data into computer databases;
• Maintaining, cleaning and repairing field equipment;
