Your résumé.
You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. Some essential and other qualifications will be assessed through your application. It is your responsibility to provide appropriate examples that illustrate how you meet each qualification. • Possession of a valid Class 1 Province of Alberta driver’s license with air brake endorsement (or provincial or territorial equivalent)
Note: Restriction number one (glasses) is not applicable
•Experience in the operation of a variety of vehicles/equipment including tractor trailers and/or cargo vehicles such as trucks of 5 tons capacity or more for heavy transportation.
•Experience in the operation of passenger carrying vehicles up to an including 50 passengers.

•Ability to perform operator inspection and/or daily maintenance in accordance with equipment/vehicle owner’s manual

•Must be willing and able to work overtime as required
•Must be willing and able to work shiftwork as required
•Must be willing and able to work indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
•Must be willing and able to obtain and retain a DND404
•Must be willing and able to attend employer directed training
•Willing and able to travel for work related purposes (long haul)
•Willing and able to maintain and produce a driver’s log book
•Must wear CSA approved safety footwear and other personal protective equipment (PPE)
Reliability Status security clearance
Possession of a valid unrestricted Class 1 Driver’s Licence with Airbrake endorsement valid in the province of work
Interviews and reference checks may be conducted.
A random and/or top down selection of candidates may be used in the determination of those to be given further consideration in the assessment process.
