A random selection will be used at any time during the process to identify which applicants from the Inventory will be assessed.
A pool of qualified candidates will be established and used to staff CR-05 and AS-01 positions within the RCMP in the National Capital Region on an indeterminate and/or term basis, with various bilingual imperative profiles and security requirements. If a qualified candidate has been appointed on an indeterminate basis from the pool, they will be removed from the pool. If a candidates is appointed as a term employee, they will remain in the pool for future indeterminate opportunities.

The successful applicant will have to obtain and maintain an RCMP Security Clearance. This process requires a Security/Reliability Interview, a field investigation in matters of criminal activities, credit/finances, education, employment, references, etc.
