When you apply to this selection process, you are not applying for a specific job, but to an inventory for future vacancies. As positions become available, applicants who meet the qualifications may be contacted for further assessment.
This is an inventory of potential candidates to fill upcoming employment opportunities at the CR-04 and CR-05 in various administrative and clerical fields based on anticipated needs.
The inventory will be updated every 90 days. You will receive a notice in your applicant account 5 days before the end of your active period to determine whether or not you wish to keep being considered for an additional 90 days.
You will be required to complete an online experience questionnaire when you apply. The information you provide in the questionnaire must be true. You must respond to all statements in all categories in order to proceed to the next steps.
Depending on the needs, candidates may be randomly selected from the inventory for assessment purposes. This process may be used to establish a pool of qualified candidates which may be used by Health Canada or the Public Health Agency of Canada to staff positions with various linguistic profiles, various security profiles, various tenures such as indeterminate, term and casual positions.
All federal organizations listed in Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act (FAA) may use this selection process to appoint a candidate to its organization in a similar position.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. Successful completion of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
To be screened in all candidates must meet the following experience factors that are applicable to all positions:
CR04 & CR05:
Experience in data entry using spreadsheet, word processing, or database software.
Experience in providing service or processing requests from internal or external clients in an office environment.
CR-05 Only:
Experience in entering, seeking and updating information from various office systems
ASSET QUALFICATIONS:
Post secondary education or training in a field relevant to the position being staffed.

Experience providing general administrative support services.
Experience working with acquisition card and reconciliation of credit card statements.
Experience in providing contract administration and material management support services, including the purchasing of goods and services.
Experience in audit and verification of accounts payable documents.
Experience in processing financial transactions, such as but not limited to: accounts payables, accounts receivables or deposits and withdrawals using a computerized financial management system.
Experience in the processing of incoming and outgoing mail or courier packages.
Experience providing record management services such as classifying, coding, filing, retrieving, retention and disposition.
Experience using a records information management system.
Experience providing support services in staffing or classification.
Experience using a human resources information management system.
Experience scheduling and organizing teleconferences, video-conferences or meetings.
Experience in determining eligibility and processing applications for benefits.
Experience working in a call centre environment.
Experience Interpreting Policies or Procedures.
Experience working or liaising with First Nations or Inuit peoples.

When opportunities arise and to manage volume, we may randomly select candidates from the inventory.
