This inventory is for casual employment which is a temporary employment of 90 working days or less, in a calendar year, to meet needs from such contingencies as vacations, sick and training leaves, to conduct special projects that are anticipated but dependent of the availability of funds.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. Some essential and other qualifications will be assessed through your application. It is your responsibility to provide appropriate examples that illustrate how you meet each qualification. Failing to do so could result in your application being rejected.
Experience:
- Experience performing grounds maintenance services including but not limited to shovelling (snow, earth, gravel, rock, etc), salt/sanding walkways.
- Experience loading/unloading/moving heavy work materials.
- Experience using a variety of hand tools, gas, electric and pneumatic tools/equipment.

Information on language requirements
Experience:
- Experience operating tractors; plow trucks, sanders, trackless units for snow removal.
- Experience assisting skilled tradespersons.
- Experience cleaning up hazardous material / fuel spills.
- Experience in traffic control practices and concrete, asphalt or gravel road repairs.
- Experience operating Chainsaws / Thinning saws.
- Possess a DND 404.

Operational Requirements:
- Must be able and willing to work overtime, if required by the employer.
Reliability Status security clearance
- Possession of Canadian Drivers Licence equivalent to a Class 5 Drivers License in the Province of New Brunswick and must be able to obtain a DND 404 driving permit.
- Mobility as it related to climbing ladders and confined space entry. Must be capable of heavy lifting. Must be able to work at heights. Must be able to wear all appropriate personal protective equipment. Physically, must be able continuously lift up to 30 lbs. Must be willing to work in extreme weather conditions.
