This is an inventory advertisement for casual employment. Your résumé.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Possession of a valid Cook Certificate of Qualification with Red Seal or a manager approved combination of education, training and experience.

Experience in large quantity institutional style cooking including dispersed meals or formal dining.

Knowledge of food preparation procedures and techniques.

Knowledge of safety practices related to a food service operation.

Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation principles necessary for food production, storage and service.

Ability to communicate effectively.

Ability to read and follow direction.

Ability to prepare and cook various items such as egg dishes, meats, fish, poultry, soup, sauces, vegetables and desserts.

Ability to calculate weights and measurements in recipes.

Ability to maintain sanitary conditions.

Ability to work safely and follow safety procedures.

Judgement

Experience working in a military establishment.
