Intent of the process

This inventory is for casual employment which is a temporary employment of 90 working days or less, in a calendar year, to meet needs from such contingencies as vacations, sick and training leaves, to conduct special projects that are anticipated but dependent of the availability of funds.

Experience working in a Food Service Organization.
Experience of Food Safety Practices.
Experience to work under pressure.

Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS).

Experience working in a food services establishment offering cafeteria-style service or full table service.
Experience in the operation of a point of sale terminal.
Experience of cleaning practices and cleaning agents.
Experience of cash handling procedures.
Experience of service and food presentation techniques.
Experience to read menus and interpret recipes.
Experience to operate and sanitize industrial food service equipment.

Conditions of employment

Reliability Status security clearance

Willingness to work shifts in various kitchens, including weekends, in a physically demanding environment.
Work standing for almost the entire duration of the work shift.
Requirement to adhere to the Food Safety Code of Practice.
