The immediate need is to staff one (1) position:
One full-time temporary position in Kentville (Nova Scotia) (English essential).
A pool of qualified and partially qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures, linguistic requirements and security requirements.

• A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.
The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are:
• A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or
• An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experiences
• Experience in providing advice, guidance and information.
• Experience in the use of various software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Asset Experiences
• Experience in providing support in accounting operations.
• Experience in using a financial management system, for example: SAP.

• Experience with Microsoft 365.
• Experience in information management/records management.
• Experience in conducting financial management administrative duties such as entering financial transactions in a system, processing contracts, processing accounts receivable or payable.
• Experience in capturing, inputting and reconciling data for accuracy.
Ability
• Ability to analyze information and to make recommendations.
Operational Requirements
• Ability and willingness to lift and/or carry up to 25kg.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime.
• Ability and willingness to undertake training related to the duties of the position.
• Ability and willingness to operate a government vehicle.
