Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to fill several positions in the AS-01 and AS-02 classifications in the Ottawa region with an immediate objective of filling the Bilingual Imperative - BBB/BBB positions.

Most positions will require on-site in office five days a week while others will entertain hybrid of two days per week in office at the following addresses:
- 101 Colonel By Drive; and
- 2200 Walkley Road.

This process may also be used to fill other current and future vacancies with varying tenures and language requirements within the Department of National Defence.

Ex4: Experience using various software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel et Outlook.

AS 02 Only:

Ex5: Experience in presenting information, analysis, ideas and positions in writing and orally.
Ex6: Experience in managing and prioritizing workload to meet deadlines while working on a number of different files concurrently involving various levels of complexity.

ORGANIZATIONAL NEEDS

As a result of workforce adjustment, affected indeterminate DND employees within the Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment (AETE - UIC 2671) at 4 Wing Cold Lake or within the British Army Training Unit Suffield (BATUS – UIC 7777) at Canadian Forces Base Suffield will be appointed or deployed to positions for which they are qualified ahead of other candidates.
