As the Business Operations Officer, your duties would include, without being limited to:
-Financial Review / Budget Projections
-Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable
-Coordinates procurement and/or contracts– work orders, office supplies, photocopier, IT systems, etc.
-Administrative activities
-Customer Service

As a Special Operating Agency reporting to the Department of National Defence (DND),CFHA contributes to the quality of life of CAF members and their families through the provision of housing services, and through the responsible and sustainable management of the Department's housing infrastructure. We are a team of 330 federal public servants who work hard to meet the needs of the Canadian Armed Forces families living in DND housing. We have close to 220 employees at our Housing Services Centres across Canada and 110 employees at our Head Office in Ottawa.
The immediate need is to staff one position on a permanent full-time basis.
❗ Due to the nature of the work, it is not possible to work from home. This position is full-time from the office and would require relocation to Wainwright, Alberta.

EDUCATION:
EDU - A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.
The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are:
• A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or
• An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE:
EX1 - Experience in processing accounts payable or accounts receivable.
EX2 - Experience in budget forecasting and analysis.
EX3 - Experience in coordinating administrative activities such as procurement, leasing or
maintenance of office equipment and supplies.
EX4 - Experience in providing customer service.
EX5 - Experience in managing complaints.

EDUCATION:
AEDU - Successful completion of two years education from an acceptable post-secondary educational program in finance, business or accounting or some other specialty relevant to the position.
EXPERIENCE:
AEX1 - Experience in performing financial procedures in the Federal Government.
AEX2 - Experience working with a financial management administration systems such as Oracle.
AEX3 - Experience in the reconciliation of accounts.
AEX4 - Experience in residential property management.
