Work environment

Elections Canada offers a hybrid work model which permits telework based on operational requirements. At Elections Canada, employees are expected to work onsite at least 2 days per week (or a minimum of 40% of their working schedule), which include one fixed day onsite. Work arrangements outside of this model may be considered on an exceptional basis.

Intent of the process

The immediate intention of this process is to staff one (1) determinate position.

A pool of qualified candidates may be established to fill positions at the same or equivalent group and level within the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer with varying tenures (such as specified period and indeterminate) as well as various linguistic profiles.
