Intent of the process

The intent is to staff a position on an indeterminate basis at Indigenous Services Canada (ISC). A pool of partially or fully qualified candidates may also be established to staff similar or identical positions at Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) and Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) with various linguistic profiles as well as tenures (term or indeterminate), location across Canada and/or security clearance, which may vary according to the position being staffed.

ED1. A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

⭐ EXPERIENCE ⭐

EXP1. Experience working in an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) program.
EXP2. Experience in providing OHS advice and recommendations.
EXP3. Significant* experience in researching and interpreting legislation, policies, or directives.

* ''Significant experience'' is defined as depth and breadth of experience normally associated with the performance of those duties on a regular basis for a period of approximately twelve (12) months. However, a shorter duration may be considered based on demonstrated complexity and diversity of work handled, scope of work, and/or level of direct responsibility for a wide variety of complex files and/or projects.
