Assessment accommodation

Duties

Our work in delivering services is equally diverse. Departmental Security offers you a chance to work in collaboration with multiple security controls including: Physical security, Business Continuity Management, Security Event Management, Security Awareness and Training as well as Security in Contracts and Other Arrangements.

Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to establish a pool of fully or partially qualified candidates to fill current and future staffing needs. This pool of candidates may be used to staff similar positions of various tenures at Transport Canada.

EDUCATION
🔹 A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

EXPERIENCE
🔹 Significant experience* providing administrative support, coordinating, and advising on activities or initiatives to support at least one of the security controls**.
🔹 Experience operating, monitoring, analysing data, and assisting in troubleshooting related to electronic security system(s) (i.e. access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection).
🔹 Experience coordinating the activities of an operational team, committee or working group.
🔹 Experience developing and editing documents for management such as briefing materials, reports, backgrounders, presentations or procedures.

ASSETS QUALIFICATIONS – EXPERIENCE
✨ Experience supervising and coordinating the work of staff.
