Work environment

► The Civilian Review and Complaints Commission for the RCMP (CRCC) is a department of the federal government, distinct and independent from the RCMP. CRCC is a division of the Federal Core Public Administration under the responsibility of the Minister of Public Safety. CRCC's employees are employees of the public service.

► The Commission reviews and investigates complaints about the conduct of RCMP members. When reviewing a complaint, the Commission does not act as an advocate for either the complainant or the RCMP members. The Commission inquires into complaints independently and reaches conclusions after an objective examination of the information provided.

Intent of the process

If you don’t immediately receive a job offer at CRCC, qualified candidates will also be placed in a talent pool to be used for staffing similar permanent or temporary positions in the future. The skill specialization(s), work location, language profile, and security clearance requirements will vary according to the position being staffed.
