The intent of this selection process is to staff a position in each stream, in Ottawa (ON).

Additionally, a pool of (fully or partially qualified) candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions at the AS-04 group and level within Natural Resources Canada with various tenures (determinate period or permanent), various language requirements (English Essential, French Essential, English or French Essential, or Bilingual), linguistic requirements (imperative and/or non-imperative) and profile(s) (BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC, CCC/CCC, etc.), various security requirements, various conditions of employment and for various locations.

EDUCATION:
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience within the security field.

EXPERIENCE
►(ALL STREAMS):
EX01: Recent* experience assisting in developing or implementing policies and/or procedures in a security or emergency management operational environment, in relations to one of the above-noted streams.
EX02: Recent* experience in provision of advice based on the interpretation of Government of Canada policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines related to operational security, business continuity, or emergency management.
EX03: Experience participating in working groups, collaborating and maintaining a network with internal and external stakeholders.
EX04: Experience in preparing briefings, reports or presentations to management.

*Recent means within the last five (5) years.
