IMPORTANT: Elections Canada offers a hybrid work model which permits telework based on operational requirements. At Elections Canada, employees are expected to work onsite at least 2 days per week (or a minimum of 40% of their working schedule), which include one fixed day onsite. Work arrangements outside of this model may be considered on an exceptional basis.

Intent of the process

The intention of this process is to staff one (1) determinate position for up to two (2) year duration with possibility of extension.

A pool of fully or partially qualified candidates may be established to staff positions at the same group and level or equivalent within Elections Canada with various tenures (indeterminate, various specified periods, acting).

EDUCATION
A Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
Significant* experience in analyzing issues and providing strategic recommendations to senior management**.
Significant* experience in implementing and leading operational projects or programs that are national in scope.
Significant* experience in managing human resources and finances.

*Significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with full-time performance of duties for a minimum of two years.
**Senior management refers to Director level (EX01 or equivalent or above) or the private sector equivalent.
