At PacifiCan, we enjoy a hybrid work model. PacifiCan offices are open environments with well-regulated air quality, ergonomic sit/stand workstations, and a combination of natural and fluorescent lighting. The physical demands of this position includes spending a significant amount of time working on a computer.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions in PacifiCan with various tenures, work locations, language requirements and conditions of employment.

Your résumé.
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in translation or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.
Experience in French translation of a variety of different products (i.e, communications products, minutes and agendas, HR bulletins, IT messages, ministerial correspondence, tweets).
Experience in coordinating a high volume of client requests.
Experience in comparative revision of documents.
Experience in quality control of written materials.
Experience in coordinating translation requests with freelance translators or the Translation Bureau.
Experience in the use of an electronic filing system (i.e. GCdocs).
Experience in the use of LogiTerm or other computer-aided translation software
Accreditation in translation.
Bilingual - Imperative (CCC/CCC)
Information on language requirements
