Currently the need is to staff these positions in Vancouver, however depending on various operational needs, positions may be staffed in other locations within the Pacific Region.

Education:
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and or experience
Experience:
Experience in developing and implementing programs
Experience in writing reports and briefing materials
Bilingual - Imperative (CCC/CBC)
Information on language requirements
Knowledge:
Knowledge of methods and techniques of consultation and negotiation to facilitate meetings
Abilities:
Ability to co-ordinate and monitor the implementation of programs and initiatives as part of a multi-disciplinary team and collaborate with various stakeholders (Federal, Provincial, International)
Ability to investigate and resolve problems, analyze, interpret and apply legislation and policy (analytical thinking)
Ability to prioritize work, manage time and adapt to changing priorities
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing

Asset Education:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized university
Asset Experience:
Experience in interpreting the Fisheries Act and regulations
Experience working in a law enforcement organization
