The Parole Board of Canada (PBC) is a small independent administrative tribunal with an impactful mandate.
The PBC contributes to public safety through the gradual, timed and controlled release of offenders back into society. We work with both offenders and victims of crime. We also administer some other very interesting programs: Record Suspensions (Pardons), Expungement (Historically Unjust Convictions), and Clemency (Royal Prerogative of Mercy).
We are a diverse, inclusive and barrier-free organization that draws on the talent, ideas and creative potential of all our employees. We support positive mental health and work-life balance, which includes a flexible telework policy. We also support second language learning through a dedicated budget and employee learning through a Collective Learning Roadmap.
