The intent of this process is to fill three (3), English essential, HP-05 positions on an indeterminate (permanent) basis in Petawawa, ON.
This process may also be used to fill current and future vacancies with various employment tenures (temporary and permanent), language profiles, security requirements, and conditions of employment.

OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
• Possession of (or in process of receiving) a valid Second-Class Operating Engineer Standardized Certificate issued by the Province of Ontario OR by another province/ Territory.
Note: Candidates who do not currently possess a valid Second Class Operating Engineer Standardized Certificate issued by the Province of Ontario will be required to obtain this certificate prior to appointment. EXPERIENCE
•Experience maintaining and operating pressure boilers and related equipment in a Central Heating (steam plant) environment.
•Experience working with steam, water and condensate systems.
•Experience following heating plant safety practices and procedures

ASSET CERTIFICATION
•Possession of a valid First Class Operating Engineer Standardized Certificate issued by the Province of Ontario or possession of a valid first Class Operating Engineer Certificate issued by another province/territory.

•Possession of certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation).
•Possession of certification in WHMIS (Work Hazardous Materials Information System).

•Experience with Co-Generation operation.
