You will play a crucial role in the development of highly effective materials for Peltier cooling of components for electric vehicles. You will perform theoretical studies of highly complex materials, design to optimize the figure-of-merit for low-temperature operation, and perform the laboratory tasks to synthesize and characterize these materials.You will collaborate with experts in academia and automotive industry in Canada.

Your résumé.
Education:
- Currently enrolled or willing to enroll in a graduate degree program in chemistry, chemical engineering or a related field at McMaster University.
- Course work in inorganic material chemistry, condensed matter physics, or material science.
Experience:
- At least one year laboratory experience in the synthesis and characterization of thermoelectric material and inorganic chemistry.
In the context of student recruitment in the Federal Public Service, the experience can be acquired through the studies, work experience, or volunteer activities.
Experience:
- Experience in operating and making routine maintenance on complex laboratory instruments.
- Prior experience in experimental research in academia or industry is an asset.
