We have an immediate need to staff four (4) positions.
A pool of qualified or partially qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions within Health Canada. Should the selected candidate already be a public servant, the pool could also be used for acting appointments or deployments.

Education
Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Notes:
1. The combination of education, training, and/or experience must always be included whenever this standard is required for staffing positions in the CR group.
2. Candidates who have been appointed or deployed for an indeterminate period to a position in the CR group must always be accepted as meeting the requirement for two years of secondary school.
Experience
1. Experience in using word processing and spreadsheet software.
2. Experience in providing financial services such as accounts payables or accounts receivables.
3. Experience providing services to internal and external clients via email and telephone.
Asset Education
Successful completion of two years of a post-secondary program with specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce, or economics.
Asset Experience
1. Experience working within an accounting operations environment.
2. Experience in using SAP Financial System.
3. Experience with Procurement to Pay (P2P) within an automated workflow environment.

► WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

- SCREENING: Screening is the initial review of your application. During the screening step,
we will review your responses for essential education and essential experience and / or
assets.
NOTE: Depending on the number of applicants, volume management strategies such as, but not limited to, top-down, cut-off, random selection and/or assessment may be used to manage applications and applicants. If a volume management strategy is used, communication regarding the application of the strategy will be sent to applicants affected by the strategy.
- WRITTEN ASSESSMENT : Should you successfully meet the criteria assessed during the screening stage; you will be invited via email to complete a written assessment that will be completed through an online platform.
- DOCUMENT GATHERING & ASSET VALIDATION: Should you successfully meet the criteria assessed during the written assessment you will be invited to do an interview and the document gathering step of the hiring process. In this step, you will be asked to submit the required documentation to support your application (e.g., proof of education, Second Language Evaluation results, etc.). During this step, you may also be asked to validate / elaborate on your asset experiences.

To be considered for a Bilingual Imperative position, you must be willing to undergo Second Language Evaluation testing OR you must already have Second Language Evaluation results (proof will be required).
