In the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch (FNIHB) of Indigenous Services Canada, we strive to provide access to quality health services, improve health outcomes, and support greater control of the health system by First Nations and Inuit. The Atlantic Regional Office works with Indigenous and Provincial government partners to support the provision of health services in Indigenous communities as well as child-first and needs based goods/services/supports and supplementary health benefits to individuals.
📌 Workplace:
The successful candidates will be required to work in a hybrid work mode at one of our worksites in the Atlantic region : Halifax (Nova Scotia), Amherst (Nova Scotia) and Moncton (New Brunswick). A part-time telework agreement may be discussed and implemented at the time of hiring in accordance with the operational needs of the position to be filled.
This process will be used to create a pool for various positions within the Jordan's Pinciple. A pool of fully or partially candidates will be established to staff similar or identical position at Indigenous Services Canada with various tenure, location, linguistic profiles, conditions of employment and security requirements.

EDUCATION
A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.*

EXPERIENCE
Experience entering information into a database and/or managing data.
Experience tracking financial information and/or reports.
Experience using word processing and spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
ASSET EXPERIENCE
Experience working with the Grants and Contributions Information Management System (GCIMS).
Experience working effectively with First Nations, Inuit, or Metis.
Experience using a financial management system.

• If a qualification has an “and/or” your answer must address at least one of the items. For example: Experience entering information into a database and/or managing data – your answer must indicates if you have experience with one or other of these elements.
• Answer the essential education qualification with the level of education requested even if you have a higher level. Include the name of the educational institution and the year that you completed the degree/diploma. Also provide the specialization in your response.
