Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) helps the Government of Canada serve Canadians. STEP 1: Do you have what it takes?

Respond to the screening questions as directly prompted in the application by writing one or two paragraphs demonstrating how you meet each of the required experience and ensure that clear and accurate details are provided. You must provide concrete and detailed examples to clearly demonstrate how you meet the EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE requirements listed in the essential qualifications and asset qualifications sections. The screening board cannot make any assumptions about your experience. It is not sufficient to say that you have the required qualifications or to list your current duties. Your resume will be used as a secondary source of information to validate your experience.
EDUCATION -
Secondary school diploma (High school diploma) or an acceptable combination of education, training or experience.
EXPERIENCE -
Experience providing administrative support (For example, responding to client inquiries, organizing meetings, taking records of discussions/meeting minutes, managing a Manager's calendar/emails, coordinating requests for human resource services, monitoring budgets, etc.).
Experience drafting, proofreading or formatting correspondence, reports or presentations.
Experience working with or extracting data in a software program.

College Diploma or Certificate from a recognized institution with an acceptable specialization in office administration or in another field relevant to the position to be staffed such as Human Resources, Business, Finance, Communications etc.
University degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
EXPERIENCE -
Experience coordinating meetings or workshops such as organizing meeting logistics, agenda creation, taking records of decisions/meeting minutes, tracking action items, etc.
Experience using an electronic document filing system.
Experience organizing work related travel arrangement or processing travel expense claims.
Experience performing accounts payable or receivable tasks such as preparing purchase orders or contracts, budget tracking/forecasting, or issuing/paying invoices.
