Intent of the process

🐟 The purpose of this inventory is to create a pool of candidates that will be used to staff CR-04 and CR-05 positions with various durations and linguistics profiles within the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada for the following locations: Baie-Comeau (Québec), Blanc Sablon (Québec), Cap-aux-Meules (Québec), Gaspé (Québec), Havre-Saint-Pierre (Québec), Sept-Îles (Québec).

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION:
ED1: A Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
➤ For all positions:
EX1: Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
EX2: Experience providing client service to clients (internal or external), or the public, via telephone, in writing or in person.

➤ For CR-04 positions:
EX3: Experience in providing administrative support.**
** While not exhaustive, the provision of administrative support services could include: electronic calendar management for others, processing of travel requests, financial processing (invoice, purchase orders, etc.), processing of correspondence, coordination of administrative activities, logistical organization of conferences or videoconferences, preparation of contextual documents for meetings, etc.
The nature, scope and relevance of experience will determine whether or not this qualification is met.

➤ For CR-05 positions:
EX4: Experience in data treatment. **
**While not exhaustive, the main responsibilities for the position are as followed: verification, preparation of documents relative to the requests made by clients and do the necessary follow-up, verify the data presented by clients, obtain and provide the required information, provide data entry and the data base analysis activities relative to the licensing and statistics management, distribute and transmit the correspondence, maintain an up-to-date filing system.

AED1: Postsecondary diploma relevant to the position to be filled such as office administration, secretarial or other.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE (asset)
AEX1: Experience providing financial support services in one (1) or more of the following:
• Reconciling financial transactions;
• Verifying and paying invoices;
• Extracting, reconciling, interpreting and compiling financial information for use by management;
• Preparing budgets and financial spreadsheets;
• Creating contracts and/or purchase orders.
AEX2: Experience in data extraction and analysis (for example collecting, entering, verifying, searching, extracting and/or presenting data and documents).
