This role requires onsite work because the work cannot be performed efficiently or effectively offsite.

Provide administrative support to senior manager, including but not limited to:
• Providing support in day-to-day activities
• Planning and coordinating meetings and events, including with external stakeholders
• Preparation of all required meeting materials
• Coordinating travel
• Providing support on financial and human resources files
• Managing public line calls and follow up
The purpose of this inventory is to fill an immediate casual employment position for an Executive Assistant.
Casual Employment Defined:
Casual employment is a temporary employment of 90 working days or less, in a calendar year, to meet needs arising from such contingencies as vacations, sick and training leaves, to conduct special projects that are anticipated but dependent of the availability of funds, etc. Casual workers are excluded from the provisions of the Public Service Employment Act (PSEA). This means casual workers will not be eligible to apply to internal selection processes. In addition, the PSEA specifies that the number of days worked as a casual worker cannot exceed 90 days in a calendar year within the same department.

EXP1. Experience in providing administrative services.
EXP2. Experience in preparing agendas, arranging meetings, teleconferences, and videoconferences.
EXP3. Experience in customer service.
ASSET EXPERIENCE
AEXP1. Experience providing executive and administrative services to a senior executive.
AEXP2. Experience in providing financial and human resources services to a supervisor/manager.
