Primary responsibilities include:
• Assist with inspections, assessment, planning and monitoring of repair/renovation projects.
• Monitor funding commitments/expenditures, and contracting services to aid in budget control and management of real property assets.
• Participate in project teams and working groups involved in developing and managing Divisional initiatives and requirements, working towards the preparation of complex analyses, management reports, executive briefings, strategic planning and development plans, business cases and presentations
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is looking for talented and skilled individuals in Property management to join our dynamic team. The Asset Coordinator assists in the management and administrative procedures needed for successful delivery of RCMP property management programs and initiatives. The RCMP's property portfolio includes: detachments, housing, office buildings, laboratories, radio repeaters, warehouses, hangars, storage and training facilities. The positions advertised are in the Real Property section of the Corporate Management Branch.
The immediate need is to staff one permanent vacancy in Fredericton, NB, and one permanent vacancy in Dartmouth, NS. Two temporary vacancies in Newfoundland and Labrador (Happy Valley-Goose Bay and Corner Brook) – up to 2 years with a possibility of permanent staffing.
A qualified pool of candidates may be established to staff temporary, indeterminate or acting positions at any of these locations.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Information regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

EXP.1 Experience in financial support services for operations or projects, and/or monitoring of budget variances.

EXP.4 Experience analyzing and interpreting financial reports/data.

ASSET EDUCATION
AED.1 Successful completion of approved post-secondary training in Property Management, Business Administration or a related field.
AED.2 Professional Real Property Designation or other related professional designation: Certified Property Manager (CPM), Real Property Administrator (RPA), Facilities Management Administrator (FMA), Certified Facilities Manager (CFM), Certified Leasing Officer (CLO), Project Management Professional, Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) etc.
ASSET EXPERIENCE:
AE.1 Experience reviewing or developing contractual documents or monitoring contractor performance
AE.2 Experience using database systems (like SAP, Oracle) for property management, finance, procurement, and/or material management.
