The creation of Indigenous Services Canada is an important development in our renewed relationship with Indigenous peoples. These structural changes will allow our government to work more effectively with Indigenous partners to provide services that improve people’s day-to-day quality of life.

The intent is to staff this position via the Aboriginal Peoples Employment Program, which aims to strategically increase Aboriginal representation within the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch. As such, Organizational Needs may be applied and first consideration may be given to candidates self-identifying as belonging to Aboriginal peoples. Education:
Graduation with a degree or diploma from a recognized university or educational institute in a field relevant to the work to be performed OR an acceptable combination of education, training and employment.
Experience:
1. Significant experience in providing advice or recommendations to management on policy, program or client service issues.
