Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to establish a pool of qualified candidates which could be used to staff similar or identical positions with various tenures, various language requirements, various locations and/or various security clearance levels within Veterans Affairs Canada.

Education:
ED1 - Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or an acceptable combination of education and experience*

*An acceptable combination of education and experience is defined as: a secondary school diploma combined with depth and breadth of experience normally associated with the performance of duties on a regular basis in one of the fields of experience listed below in the Experience section.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
EX1 - Experience in human resource management (e.g. supervision, workload assignment, setting work objectives, learning plans, performance management plans, etc.)
EX2 - Experience in developing briefing materials and providing strategic advice to senior managers on complex* issues
EX3 - Experience in implementation and management of complex events, projects or programs including developing tools such as plans, guidelines or procedures
EX4 - Experience in management of financial resources for program or project, such as budget setting and oversight

*”Complex” is defined as: multidimensional, composed of interconnected or related parts, dealing with matters that are complicated or intricate.

For some positions, must possess a valid driver’s license.
