The position is located at the Joseph Shepard Federal Building at 4900 Yonge Street in Toronto, Ontario. This job has been identified as hybrid. Generally, employees in a hybrid job can anticipate working from their designated PSPC location a minimum of 40% of the time each month, which equates to an average of two days per week. Intent of the process

The intent of this appointment process is to establish a fully assessed pool of qualified candidates to fill a few vacancies in Toronto, Ontario. The results of this process may be used to staff identical or similar positions of various tenures (temporary or permanent) for various locations in Ontario Region (including Ottawa) where there is a Public Services and Procurement Canada work location.

Degree equivalency

1. Experience in providing *administrative services to support management (manager and above).
*Administrative services may include, but is not limited to: managing calendars; scheduling and organizing meetings; preparing and distributing meeting agendas and/or minutes; providing information and assistance to colleagues; coordinating and tracking written materials (such as briefing notes, presentations, or reports) and managing records; processing finance requests (such as paying invoices). These experiences may have been gained through various means such as: on the job, through school or volunteer work.

2. Experience using Microsoft Office applications (i.e.: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint, etc.)

Completion of post-secondary education.

Experience using SIGMA/SAP financial management system.

1. How will you communicate with me?

2. How does an inventory work?
An inventory is a selection process that can be used by various hiring managers to meet their current and future needs. As a result, you will apply only once to be considered for multiple job opportunities at the AS-02 level or equivalent.

3. When I submitted my application, why did I receive a “Screened out” message?
In this case, you probably answered "no" to the screening question asking you to confirm that you possess the minimum educational requirement or one of the essential experiences. It is possible that you answered "no" to one of these questions BY MISTAKE. If this is the case, simply retrieve your application and change your answer.

4. What does "Registered in the Inventory" mean?
When your application has been successfully submitted, the system automatically generates a status confirming your inclusion in the inventory. This means that you are now part of the list of candidates who could be randomly selected, depending on the needs of the positions to be filled. If your application is selected, you will be notified.

5. What happens if my application expires?
You must reconfirm your interest in remaining in the inventory every 90 days. Twelve days prior to expiry, a notice will be posted to the "My Jobs" menu in your GC Jobs account. If you disregard this notice, your application will be automatically deactivated from the inventory and you will no longer be considered. If this situation occurs, you have the option to reactivate your application by selecting the "Renew my application" link. This option is only valid for the duration of the inventory, i.e. before the closing date indicated in the advertisement.

6. My personal information has changed, what should I do?
Simply update them in the "Personal Information" section, in the "My Job File" menu of your GC Jobs account. This will allow us to have your current contact information and ensure adequate follow-up in the event that your application is considered as part of a process issued from this inventory.
