🌟 HYBRID WORK
Candidates can expect a hybrid work model following Treasury Board Secretariat guidelines. The new Government of Canada requirement to work at a designated worksite at least two to three times per week, or 40% to 60% of the regular schedule, is consistent with our hybrid approach and flexibility. At the time of hiring, a work arrangement will be put in place, which may be modified over time based on various considerations such as operational requirements.

Intent of the process

The current need is to staff a full-time permanent English Essential position in Kingston, Ontario.

This process may also be used to establish a pool of qualified and/or partially qualified candidates to staff future vacancies of similar or identical positions with various tenures and/or various linguistic requirements and/or various security profiles within Transport Canada in the Ontario Region.

Education:
A Secondary School Diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
Experience in providing administrative support in an office environment.
Experience in the processing of financial documents (such as: processing and auditing travel claims, coding of invoices, etc).
Experience in providing client service delivery in person and by telephone and electronically.
Experience in preparing and editing routine correspondence.
Experience in the administration and maintenance of information in an electronic processing system.
Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite Applications including all of the following: Outlook, Word and Excel.

Asset Education:
Successful completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma.
