We are committed to providing an inclusive and barrier-free work environment, starting with the hiring process. If you need to be accommodated during any phase of the evaluation process, please use the Contact information below to request specialized accommodation. All information received in relation to accommodation will be kept confidential.
WORK LOCATIONS
The majority of our positions are located in Ottawa, with a number of positions in Montreal and a small number in Vancouver. INFC is assessing its presence in other geographic locations and may expand its office space to a few more areas in Canada, including Toronto, Edmonton, and Halifax.
In accordance with INFC’s hybrid work model, employees hired within their position’s geographic work location are required to work on-site 40% of each month (ex. approximately 2 days a week).
On a case-by-case basis, telework agreements may be considered to advance regional presence beyond these cities. Linguistic requirements for telework are determined by the POSITION location, not the location of the employee.
CALL TO ACTION
The Clerk of the Privy Council Office (PCO)'s Call to action on anti-racism, equity, and inclusion in the Federal Public Service states: “We must advance this objective together, acting both individually and collectively, and recognizing that our progress will rely on amplifying the voices of those within our organizations to help lead the way”. To that end, INFC is reaffirming its commitment to build an equitable, diverse, inclusive and barrier-free work environment through various programs, practices and initiatives.
The purpose of this process is to increase representativeness. Therefore, applicants who self-declare as members of one or more of the following Employment Equity designated groups (i.e. Indigenous Peoples, Persons with Disabilities, and/or members of Visible Minorities) will be considered ahead of others. Self-declaration is voluntary, confidential, and, will assist us in supporting the achievement of greater representativeness. We welcome members of equity seeking groups to apply and recognize that the current Employment Equity Act does not fully encompass all equity seeking group members.
How to complete a self-declaration:
1- Click Apply Online;
2- Complete the Employment Equity section;
3- Click on I want to complete the Self-Declaration Form for Employment Equity Groups; and,
4- Fill out the form. In order to allow the organization to use the information for staffing purposes, you must select purpose 1 - selection processes and statistics related to selections and EE workforce representation
