We are committed to providing an inclusive and barrier-free work environment, starting with the hiring process. If you need to be accommodated during any phase of the evaluation process, please use the Contact information below to request specialized accommodation. All information received in relation to accommodation will be kept confidential.
When you apply to this selection process, you are not applying for a specific job, but to an inventory for future vacancies. As positions become available, applicants who meet the qualifications may be contacted for further assessment.
The first inventory pull will be on September 8, 2023.
Whoever applied to 23-RCM-EA-P-E-SUR-CMCB-FI-119428 should reapply again.
When a manager has a vacancy for a specific position, they may request a number of random referrals to consider for their position(s). If there are qualified persons in the inventory pool, they may consider those already assessed. Once a candidate has been assessed, and found qualified, they will be placed into the pool of qualified persons and may be referred for future permanent or temporary vacancies.
If you are referred to a position and are not available to be assessed in the immediate future, your application may be rejected. It is your responsibility, should you be temporarily unavailable, to ensure your application in My Jobs has been retrieved or deleted until you are available to be assessed.
Your application in this inventory will be active for 180 days. A notice that your application is about to expire will be posted to the My Jobs menu of your account 30 days before the end of your active period. If you do not take action, your application will no longer be active and therefore no longer considered for this inventory. Should your application become inactive while the process is still open, a notice will be posted to your account indicating that your application has expired; you may select the link Update my Inventory Status to reaffirm your interest.
PLEASE NOTE, WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT ON-LINE APPLICATIONS RECEIVED VIA THE Canada.ca SITE. Persons with disabilities preventing them from applying on-line are asked to contact the individual noted at the bottom of this advertisement.
NOTE: Applications are to be received online by clicking on the button below. Please do not send your resume or application to the Contact noted unless you are a person with a disability who is unable to apply online. The Contact can assist with general questions.
Failure to follow these instructions may impact your candidacy for appointments. It is the candidate’s responsibility to research the location, housing costs, transportation, etc. prior to applying. Employee pay parking is very limited at this location and there is an existing waitlist. We recommend you integrate transit or other means of transportation in your research.
Please do not email the Contact asking for an update. You will be contacted if your resume will be considered further.
If you do not fully complete the screening questions as instructed, you may be screened out. It is not acceptable to put “see resume” in the space provided to answer the questions. You MUST clearly demonstrate in writing how you meet the Essential Education, and Experience requirements. Provide examples and describe the work/duties you have performed. Failure to do so may result in your application not being considered further during the screening process.
Any or all of the asset qualifications, operational requirements, and organizational needs may be used for the screening of applications. If you meet these criteria, please clearly demonstrate how you meet them in writing. Provide examples and describe the work/duties you have performed. Failure to do so may result in your application not being considered further during the screening process.
Original proof of your education will be requested and must be provided during the selection process, in order to verify that candidates meet the education requirement. Candidates who are unable to provide proof that they meet this essential qualification as requested may be eliminated from the process. Also note, if the name on your education credentials does not match the name on your current photo identification, you will need to provide proof of your name change.
Education obtained outside of Canada must be evaluated. Please contact The Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials as soon as possible to initiate the evaluation process http://www.cicic.ca/
Person(s) may be able to work Telework up to 2 days per week, upon approval of the manager.
The result of this selection process will be to create a pool of qualified candidates which may be used to fill future permanent or temporary vacancies.

The Department is committed to a representative workforce that represents the Canadian public we serve. In support of this commitment, self-declaration information can be factored into the appointment decision to address our commitment to increase representation for employment equity groups and the 2SLGBYQI+/ Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression (SOGIE) community. Therefore, we encourage candidates to indicate voluntarily on their application if they are a member of one of these groups.
Give yourself the best chance to succeed! As the objective of this process is to assess qualifications needed for the position(s) to be staffed, let us know if you have a functional limitation / disability, which may affect your performance. For example, contact us if you need assistance in completing and submitting your application. Should you then proceed to the next assessment stage, such as an exam or interview, we will send you an e-mail with additional information on the assessment format so that you can determine if you may require an accommodation (such as a different test format, an adaptive technology, or additional time). Assessment accommodations are designed to remove the obstacles without altering the criteria being assessed so candidates with functional limitations can fully demonstrate their abilities.
Preference will be given to veterans first and then to Canadian citizens and permanent residents, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
